Research and Development

Making Britain Circular is a time-limited, non-retail Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) research and development trial led by Enviroo. The programme is experimental and developmental in nature and does not constitute a commercial or operational DRS scheme. It is designed to generate policy-ready evidence on non-retail DRS operation, data capture and traceability, participation, and material quality.

Enviroo undertakes applied research into consumer behaviour and non-retail collection systems to improve return rates and material quality. We design and deliver structured, time-limited trials to generate operational and behavioural evidence that informs future system design.
